Purpose of United Methodist Women
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of missions through participation in the global ministries of the church.
The United Methodist Women are a very active organization in our church. They meet the third Tuesday of each month at 2:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall, for their general meeting.
The UMW Circles meet the fourth Tuesday of each month at various times and locations.
In April during the Horseshoe Bend Annual Dogwood Days Celebration, our United Methodist Women sponsor a Quilt Show and Tea. This year the event is scheduled for Friday, April 17th.
